At Mogg Osborne Pty Ltd our staff are our biggest asset. We pride ourselves on our diverse staff and their knowledge and experience both in work and life.

Our principals have many years of experience both in Tax and Accounting and Financial Planning and are actively involved in the industry. They provide our staff with leadership and guidance and are also involved with community groups and use their knowledge to the benefit of our rural community.

Our staff participate in regular training and are encouraged to study and progress in their area of interest. This training and study keeps our staff up to date and in the best position to use their knowledge to benefit our clients in an environment that continuously evolves.

Peter Mogg
Director - FCPA, B.Ec., AR

Peter Mogg is an Fellow of CPA Australia and Registered Company Auditor. He has been advising the Small Business Enterprise (SME) sector on a range of issues for over 30 years. This includes Tax Advice, Restructuring, Succession and Estate Planning. Peter has been a regular presenter at CPA conferences and events, and a former Chair of the CPA Public Practice Committee. Peter is also on a select number of Company Advisory Boards.

Peter and his wife Sandra, have 3 adult children Annika, Lily and Thomas, are heavily involved in their local community and all follow North Melbourne FC.

Rod McLeod
Director - CPA, B.Bus (Acc), AR

Rod started his career at Mogg Osborne Pty Ltd after graduating from La Trobe, University Bendigo with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) in 1992. He gained his CPA qualification in 1996 and became a director of the firm in 2005. He is passionate about putting people in a better financial position by helping them achieve their goals and dreams, both business and personal, through our Business Advisory and Wealth Management services.  He has many years of experience specialising in Financial Planning, Business Advisory, Tax and GST compliance. 

Rod is an active volunteer in many local community organisations, enjoys a game of tennis, water skiing, camping and spending family time with his wife Leica and children Jordan, Zac and Laura.

Sharon Postlethwaite
CEO of Mogg Osborne Pty Ltd

Sharon moved to Cobram from Melbourne in 1994 with Kraft Foods and worked in various roles and at various sites before leaving Kraft Foods in 2001. Sharon came to Mogg Osborne Pty Ltd in November 2001 working in the administration team until taking on the role of CEO in 2005. Sharon has been lots of change at Mogg Osborne Pty Ltd in the years worked here and seen the firm grow and add new offices in Finley and Albury.

Outside of work Sharon enjoys gardening and music and particularly enjoys attending music concerts with friends and weekends away.

Kellie Byford
IT & Systems Manager

Kellie commenced employment with the firm in August 1994 as a Payroll clerk and bookkeeper. Shortly after commencing, the firm started a Financial Planning division and Kellie expanded her job role to include Financial Planning Assistant. With that came our first internet connection and we had one Microsoft computer. As the years progressed Kellie's role included working as a Client Manager and completing Tax & GST work, Financial Planning Assistant which included studying & achieving a Diploma in Financial Services.  As the firm grew, Kellie also took on a role in IT. The firm has grown quite considerably over the years and in 2004, Kellie took on the full-time position of IT & Systems Manager. Kellie oversees the maintenance of the firms hardware and software, as well as developing and maintaining systems and procedures and implementing new software.

Kellie enjoys the wonderful surroundings of Cobram and spending time with her family and friends.

Brett Gallagher
Team Leader - CPA, AAR, B.Bus

Brett commenced employment with the firm in March 2005, relocating from Bendigo. Brett studied at La Trobe University for his Degree in Bachelor Business (Accounting) graduating in 2004 and obtaining his CPA qualification in 2010. Brett started as a Client Manager before accepting a Team Leader position in 2008.

Brett enjoys playing cricket and following his team in the AFL.

David Vinecombe
Team Leader - CPA, AAR, B.Bus.

David grew up on the family farm near Barham before being educated in Bendigo and then starting his accounting career in Melbourne working for the Taxation Office. After 3 years in Melbourne, David moved back to the country and began his public accounting career in Swan Hill, where he worked for the next 10 years, before moving to Queensland to take up a position as a partner in one of the largest accounting firms in Cairns. After 8 years with that firm, David left to experiment in a completely different field of accounting, being the Group Accountant for one of Queensland's largest private companies which owned and operated, among other things, over 100 hotels and bottle shops, 13 Childcare Centres and was heavily involved in the construction of multi storey apartment complexes in the Cairns, Townsville and Gold Coast region.

David moved back to this area in 2009 and he and his family now reside in Tocumwal, where he divides his working week between our Cobram and Finley offices.

Emma Skehan
Team Leader - CPA, B.Acc

Emma grew up in the Cobram area, completing her VCE at Cobram Secondary College in 2009. She graduated from LaTrobe University, Bendigo in 2012 with a Bachelor of Accounting, before joining the firm in January 2013. Emma attained her CPA qualification in 2016. Emma has also taken on the role of being our Xero Champion.

Emma enjoys playing netball for Katamatite, skiing at the snow and spending time with family and friends.

Michael Whitford
Team Leader - CPA, B.Bus(Acc)

Michael studied at at LaTrobe in Bendigo for his Bachelor of Business (Accounting). From 1993-2000 Michael worked in industry, specialising in cost accounting in transport and manufacturing.

Michael is married and has 3 young children. He lives on a small lifestyle farm running beef cattle.  His hobbies include bush camping, 4WDriving,  restoring & enjoying old Holdens.

Jacquie Ryan
Self Managed Super Fund Manager

After 10 years working for the Commonwealth Bank in various branches Jacquie settled back in Cobram to raise a family. Commencing employment with the firm in July of 2000, this was Jacquie's introduction to GST. Having grown though the years with the firm Jacquie has taken on various roles within the firm and has a wealth of knowledge. As demand for Self Managed Super Funds has grown, Jacquie has taken on the role of manager of the Self Managed Super Fund Division.

Jacquie has a strong community involvement with the Cobram Football Netball Club and various other committees. Jacquie is devoted to her family, husband Chris and sons Dylan and Andrew. Jacquie also likes to spend time catching up with friends.

Annette Stillard
Client Manager - B. Bus (Acc)

Annette grew up on a farm outside of Barooga before attending Latrobe University, Bendigo, graduating in 1991. She commenced her public accounting career with Richmond and Johansen and Vin Slater & Associates, both in Bendigo, before switching to company accounting in businesses including Hume & Iser Home Timber & Hardware (Bendigo) Recopak Machinery (Cobram - metal engineering) and Tocumwal Lions Community Hostel (Aged care – Tocumwal) as well as operating the family business, Norgate's Plant Farm for several years. She commenced with the firm in 2012.

Mother of two amazing sons she has an active interest in photography, gardening, rock'n'roll dancing and participating in the annual tomato sauce competition at local shows and competing against her siblings

Ben Zito
Client Manager B.Bus (Acc)

  Ben is a local guy that has lived and grown up in Cobram his whole life. He completed VCE in 2016 at Cobram Secondary College.  From day dot Ben knew he wanted to be involved in an Accounting firm, so after finishing school he moved to Albury/Wodonga to study a Bachelor in Business (Accounting) at LaTrobe University.

Ben was successful in obtaining the trainee accounting position at Mogg Osborne and moved studies to LaTrobe University in Shepparton to study a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) part time.


Outside of work Ben enjoys sports and spending time at the river camping with family and friends.

Debbie Batey
Client Manager - B.Acc

Debbie studied at La Trobe University in Shepparton, completing her Bachelor of Accounting in 2012 and is now currently studying for her CPA qualification. She commenced with Mogg Osborne in 2019 after working in Shepparton for 7 years dealing mainly with Transport and Civil Construction. Debbie is married to Terry and has four adult children Georgia, Ellie, D'Arcy and Ruby and currently has 4 gorgeous grandchildren.

In her spare time, Debbie enjoys live music and concerts and exploring new places with her husband.

Ginetta Hyde
Client Manager

Ginetta is a local girl having grown up in the Cobram area. After finishing high school Ginetta completed a certificate in Advanced Accounting. Ginetta commenced employment with the firm in September 2001 as a Client Manager and is also our Reckon Accounts specialist.

Ginetta and her husband Dylan have 2 children Tarkyn & Lara, and enjoy spending time on the river, and as the kids are growing they are becoming more involved in sports.

Kirsty Foster
Client Manager - CPA, B.Bus

Kirsty grew up in Cobram before moving to Bendigo to study at La Trobe University. After graduating in 1999 Kirsty worked in a Bendigo accounting firm for 7 years before moving to Perth for work. Kirsty returned to Cobram and began working at Mogg Osborne in 2009 where she worked for 2 years before moving back to WA for 12 months. Once again Kirsty returned to Cobram and back to Mogg Osborne in 2012 before taking some time off for the birth of her son in 2013.

Kirsty enjoys being a mum to her two children Ella and Jack, and spending time with family and friends.

Sam Bugge
Client Manager - CPA, B.Comm.

Sam grew up in Kyabram and started her accounting career as a trainee for a Shepparton firm before joining our firm in 1995. Sam completed her Bachelor of Commerce from La Trobe University in 2002 and her CPA qualification in 2005. She left the firm in 2005 to travel Australia with her husband Shane and since then has worked part-time for the firm in-between having her children Ned & Bonnie. She returned to full time work with Mogg Osborne in February 2015 after a 2 ½ year trip around Australia with her family.

Outside work she enjoys exploring new places, meeting new people and spending time with family and friends.

Tracey Watt
Client Manager

Tracey has lived in the Cobram area all her life.  After spending 18 years with Barooga Sports Club, Tracey and her family owned and operated the Barooga General Store for 8 years.  Having a couple of years off due to family commitments, Tracey then joined the Brooks Accountants team in September 2014 before merging with Mogg Osborne in November 2016.

Outside of work Tracey enjoys camping on the Murray & spending time with her family and friends.

Lisa Ford
Audit Client Manager - CPA, B.Comm.

Lisa grew up in Barooga and started her accounting career at a large firm in Shepparton after graduating from La Trobe University 2002 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree. She has been a proud member of the Mogg Osborne family since joining the firm January 2004. Lisa attained her CPA qualification in 2009 whilst working in various areas of the firm. She is now the team leader of our audit division and loves working with her team and our wonderful audit clients.

Lisa & her husband Trevor enjoy spending time with their sons Jake & Sam and catching up with family and friends. In her spare time Lisa likes to get crafty and enjoys 'making stuff' with paper crafting, mixed media and beyond the page.

Liz Stronge
Audit Client Manager - CA, B.Comm

Liz grew up in the Berrigan area, attended Finley Highschool and acquired a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne.  Liz spent 5 years with Ernst & Young while gaining her Chartered Accountant qualification and then returned to the country where she spent 8 years in Griffith working for Miranda Wines and then as Audit Manager for Pinnacle Accounting Partners.  She moved back to Cobram to get married and has since worked for Bega Cheese (Finance Manager), Goulburn Murray Water (Management Accountant) and self employed as a Self Managed Superannuation Audit Manager.  Liz joined Mogg Osborne in June 2017 as an Audit Manager and works three days a week.


Whilst not working, Liz is very busy with her 3 boys and enjoys spending time with family.

Jennifer Breytenbach
Audit Assistant

Jennifer is originally from South Africa and moved to Australia in 2019 with her husband. She has been working in the financial Industry for 4 years, prior to making the big move .

Jennifer has obtained an NQF Level 3 - Foundation Level & NQF Level 4 - Intermediate Level in Financial Accounting. 
She is proud to be a member of the Mogg Osborne Audit team and is most definitely living the dream.

Outside work she enjoy's outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

Kade Beasley
Team Leader, DFP, ADFP, AR

Kade is a Financial Adviser & Authorised Representative of Count, he is also Team Leader of the Financial Planning Division.

Kade joined Mogg Osborne in 2015 and has over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry, including over 15 years in Portfolio Management & Fund Administration in Dublin, Ireland. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and registered as a Tax (financial) adviser with the Tax Practitioners Board (Registration No 25834200).

Kade is actively involved in the local community, being a committee member of the Cobram Football Netball Club as well as sitting on the board of management for Cobram District Health.

Alan Reeves
Portfolio Manager

Alan joined Mogg Osborne in 2014 as a Financial Planner. He has previously been employed in Accounting & Legal Practices over many years. Alan's previous experience also includes 10 years as a Financial Planner after which he decided on a change to be involved in the tourism industry in Yarrawonga. He is now back doing the style of work he has enjoyed most.

Alan enjoys spending time with his family and really enjoys stirring up his grandchildren.

Louise Greenwood
Portfolio Manager

After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003 Louise worked in administration for a large company in Melbourne. After deciding on a tree change she relocated to Cobram and joined the firm in 2007. Louise is a portfolio manager in our Financial Planning division and a client manager in our Self Managed Super Fund division.

Louise is actively involved in the Cobram Barooga Canoe Club, local wildlife rescue and enjoys spending time with her partner Beau, daughter Emma and son Jack.

Bree Carmichael
Client Service Officer

Bree started work with Mogg Osborne in November 2011 in the financial planning team after several years out of the workforce looking after her 3 boys. Bree moved to Cobram from Melbourne with her husband and children in 2008 to be closer to family and haven't looked back.

Bree enjoys life on the Murray, camping and spending time with friends.

Rachael Baxa
Client Service Officer

Rachael is a local Cobram girl, who has grown up and worked in Cobram all her life.

Rachael has worked in administration roles in Real Estate & Stock Agent firms for five years and then spent eight years at the Bendigo Bank, before leaving to start her family.  During this time Rachael became a qualified Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer, and worked part-time, to fit in with her young family.

Rachael then moved back into admin in 2016, joining the Mogg Osborne team, and the Financial Planning Division.

In her spare time, Rachael enjoys travelling, camping with family and friends, and watching her two boys play sport.

Cheryl Finch
Corporate Services & Personal Assistant

Cheryl migrated from Canada in 1991 and settled in Cobram with her husband, Eric. Following a number of years at home with her three sons, Michael, Jason and Philip, she commenced working with Watters Electrical in 2002. In November, 2006, she took a position with The Panda Ranch Group as a member of their fruit marketing team.

Following a corporate re-organisation and moving the offices to Shepparton, Cheryl decided to leave and return to working in Cobram. She began working with Mogg Osborne Pty Ltd in November 2008 and with a background in corporate legal administration is well suited to oversee corporate services and super fund administration in the firm.

Cheryl enjoys travelling, visiting family and friends, keeping fit, reading and volunteering in the community.

Reception & Administration

Catherine grew up in Cobram, completed VCE at St Mary's Nathalia in 2011. She has completed a Certificate III in Business Administration. Catherine is part of our administration team.


Outside work Catherine enjoys reading in her snuggle chair and spending time with her Family & Friends.

Charlee Webster

Reception & Administration

Charlee is a local girl who grew up in Finley. She completed her HSC in 2016 at Finley High School. Charlee started work with Mogg Osborne Pty Ltd in August 2017 at our Cobram Office and is part of our Reception and Administration Team. Charlee has completed a Certificate III in Business Administration.

Outside of work Charlee enjoys exploring new places, being outdoors and spending time with her friends & family.

Margaret Breust
Reception & Administration

Marg started with Mogg Osborne Pty Ltd in 2003, her role is Receptionist/PA/Administration based in the Finley Office which she really enjoys along with all the meet and greet aspects of her role.

In her spare time she loves to cook and spending time catching up with family and friends.

Sue Charlton
Reception & Administration

Sue commenced at Mogg Osborne in March 2006 after moving from Melbourne where she worked at Kraft Foods for 16 years in various roles. Sue left Mogg Osborne in February 2008 to have her daughter Leah, then commenced back with Mogg Osborne in April 2012.  Sue has completed a Certificate IV in Business at Wodonga Tafe. Sue enjoys the diversity of her role as a receptionist and wears many hats within the organisation but she really enjoys organising events and functions and getting to know our clients.

Sue is a keen gardener on their 3 acre property out of town, which keeps her busy and enjoys camping with family and friends.
